Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

CricTrainer (also referred to as “Cricket Trainer,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a mobile cricket coaching and training analysis app operated by Wild Wolf Holdings (“Wild Wolf”), based in California, USA.

This policy applies to the CricTrainer mobile apps (including Android package com.cricket.trainer / Internal testing com.cricket.trainer.dev and related iOS builds) and related backend services.

2. Information we collect

2.1 Account information

• Name / display name
• Email address
• User identifiers from Firebase, Google Sign-In, and/or Supabase Auth
• Authentication tokens needed to keep you signed in

2.2 Profile information

• Age
• Gender
• Height (and unit)
• Handedness
• Batting position
• Avatar image or generated avatar URL
• Optional public handle / CricTag where provided

2.3 Media and coaching content

• Drill videos and related photos you capture or upload for analysis
• Thumbnails and analysis outputs stored so you can review past drills
• Pose / motion frames processed on-device with Google ML Kit for coaching feedback. Pose processing is designed to run on your device; we do not sell pose data.

2.4 Diagnostics

• Crash logs, error messages, and diagnostic breadcrumbs (for example via our report-client-crash pathway) to improve reliability and fix bugs
• Device / app version metadata reasonably needed to diagnose issues

2.5 Information we do not collect for ads

We do not show third-party advertising in the app, and we do not sell your personal information.

3. How we use information

• Create and manage your account and sign-in
• Personalize coaching, drills, stats, and profile experience
• Process and store drill videos and analysis results you request
• Generate or update avatars when you use that feature
• Provide social / leaderboard features you choose to use
• Maintain security, prevent abuse, and debug crashes
• Communicate about account, security, or service changes
• Comply with law and enforce our Terms

4. Third parties and service providers

We use trusted processors to operate the app. They process data on our behalf under their terms:

• Google — Sign-In / authentication; on-device ML Kit pose features
• Firebase — authentication / identity-related services where configured
• Supabase — primary backend (auth, database, storage, edge functions)
• Google Gemini / Recraft — avatar generation when you use avatar features

These providers may process data in regions where they operate. We require appropriate contractual and technical safeguards where applicable.

5. Sharing

• We share data with the processors listed above to run the service.
• We may share limited profile information with other users when you use social features (e.g. leaderboard display name / avatar).
• We may disclose information if required by law, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a merger or asset transfer.
• We do not sell personal data and do not share it with advertisers for targeted ads.

6. Security

We use industry-standard measures, including encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) between the app and our backends. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; please use a strong password and protect your device.

7. Data retention

We retain account, profile, and media data while your account is active and as needed to provide the service. After an account deletion request is completed, we delete or de-identify personal data within approximately 30 days, except where we must retain limited records longer for security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or legal compliance (typically up to 90 days for residual backups/logs, unless law requires longer).

8. Your choices and rights

• Update profile information in the app where available
• Sign out of your account from the app
• Request account and associated data deletion via our account deletion page
• Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export personal data — contact us at the email above

Optional “delete some data without deleting the account” is not currently offered as a self-serve product path (answer No in Play Data safety unless we ship that feature).

9. Children’s privacy

CricTrainer may be used by younger athletes with appropriate parental / guardian involvement where required by law. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children in a manner that violates applicable children’s privacy laws. If you believe we have collected such information improperly, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

10. International users

If you use the app from outside the country where our servers or providers operate, your information may be transferred to and processed in other countries.

11. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will revise the “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, provide additional notice in the app or by email.
